Create Fancard Prepaid Mastercard® sub-cards for teens, students, rivals, or for yourself.
1. What Are Sub-Cards?
A sub-card is a Fancard Prepaid Mastercard® that is connected to your primary Fancard account. Cardholders use sub-cards to share an account with family members, distribute allowances, budget by category, and more.
3. Take Care of the Whole Team
Sub-cards are a great way to distribute allowances, chore money, small rewards, and more to children and family members. Easily push and pull money to and from each card on your primary account and never worry about overspending or withdrawing cash from an ATM.
4. Transfer Money in Real Time
You can load your sub-cards in real time from your primary Fancard or a linked bank account with just a few clicks!
Plus, you can schedule transfers that load these additional cards automatically with the Auto Load feature.
All you need to do is set an amount, choose your Fancard balance or any bank account linked to your primary Fancard and set a frequency.
5. Text Alerts
Stay on top of all spending linked to your account by subscribing to text alerts*. You’ll receive a text message for each transaction, so you can keep track of your account, your sub accounts and know your current balance.
To subscribe, log in to your Fancard Account, then select Manage Alerts*.
6. Bucket Budgeting
Made famous by Dave Ramsey and other personal finance experts, the “Envelope System” instructs people to budget out their spending by category or “buckets” each month by putting cash in labeled envelopes.
Now, fans can do the same thing on their specially labeled sub-cards! Simply give new cards names like “Groceries,” “Entertainment,” etc. and easily track each transaction by card and category.
7. Disable Sub-Cards
You can disable any of your sub-cards anytime, for any reason. To Disable online, go to Sub-Cards, then select the card you would like to disable. Lastly, click on Disable Sub.
On mobile devices, go to Sub-Cards, and select the card you would like to disable. Then, click on Actions, then Disable.
