Important Update for our Cardholders

Please Read Carefully, Your Action is Required

Fancard Cardholders,

Thank you for being a valued part of the Fancard Team! We appreciate your continued use of the Fancard Prepaid Mastercard®. We wanted to update you with a few important changes coming January 2018


You will be receiving a new, updated Fancard in the mail between January 7th- January 20th.

You will have a New Card Number and Routing Number.

    • Activate your Fancard as soon as you receive it.
    • Once it is activated, all of your funds will be Automatically Transferred.
    • Your old Fancard will stop working February 13th.

Here are some important updates to go along with your new Fancard:


To continue our mission of bringing you, our cardholder, a game-changing prepaid product, we needed to make some upgrades. This will allow us to bring exciting new features, additions, and rewards to our cardholders.

Here are the details for what you need to know:

      • Your Fancard will arrive between Jan. 7th – Jan. 20th, 2018
      • Your old Fancard will stop working Feb. 13th, 2018
      • Funds will Automatically Transfer when you activate your new Fancard
      • Your new Fancard will be the same Team Design!
      • Your Routing and Card number will change. Read Updating Direct Deposit.


This will ensure you receive your new Fancard and are able to activate it.


If it has changed since you received your Fancard

This must be done by Jan. 1st, 2018 in order to receive your new Fancard.

Activate your card as soon as you receive it.

Destroy your old card once you have activated your new Fancard.


Fill out and hand your employer your new Direct Deposit slip.

Important: Your Direct Deposit information will change with your new Fancard.

Your new direct deposit slip will be attached to the carrier that your card arrives in.. Simply cut off the form, fill it out, and hand your new Direct Deposit slip to your employer. You can also log in to your Fancard account and find your updated Direct Deposit information as soon as you activate your new Fancard.

If you have set up Federal Benefits on your Fancard, no worries! You don’t have to do anything at all! We will automatically convert your deposits over to your new Fancard.

Updated Fees

We have made several changes and improvements to our fees.

If you direct deposit over $750 per month, your fee is now $3.95!

Managing Your Card Fee Details
New Card $3.95 Charged after 1st load
Monthly Fee $3.95
Charged 30 days after card issuance and thereafter.
$3.95 fee with Direct Deposit of $750 or more
$6.95 fee with Direct Deposit less than $750.
Deposit must post to the card prior to 7:00 AM Eastern
to be eligible for the reduced Monthly Fee.
Inactivity Fee2 $4.95 Charged after 90 days of inactivity.

Close Card3 $10.00 Applied when cardholder requests account
closure and the remaining funds are

Using Your Card Fee Details
POS PIN Debit Purchase (Int’l) 3% of the transaction amount
POS Signature Purchase (Int’l) 3% of the transaction amount
Withdraw Cash Fee
ATM Withdrawal $2.50
ATM Withdrawal- DECLINED $1.00
Withdrawal (At a Bank) $2.50
1 Charged the 30 days following card issuance and thereafter. $750 Direct Deposit must post to the card prior to the last calendar day of the month.
2 Charged after 90 days of inactivity. Replaces Monthly Fee.
3 Applied when cardholder requests account closure and the remaining funds distributed via paper check.
4 One free replacement card per year.
5 Fee based on card image selected.
